Hi guys
I've been working on a magazine from my house for more than a year. Now the editor wants to do it from their office. I'd like to know if there is any way to connect their computer (they are planning to get a new G5)with mine. My idea is to be able to access their files, download them to my computer, work on them and them upload them again, so we don't need to be traveling a lot and wasting time. I was thinking about .mac, but the space they give for storage is not enough.
Any suggestions?

Well you could go with sftp, ftp being unsecure.
Then there are less standard options such as Hotline, Carracho, several other newer variants.
I would suggest setting up a AFP server I think Sharepoints will make that trivial.
All this being dependant on one of the machines being accessible from the internet.

good suggestion on the SFTP or just setting up a machine as a server at one location.

Thank you guys for your help. I'm really a newbie in this matters. How can I set up one machine as a server? Both locations are going to be online all the time via DSL
