How do I use a windows postscript font on Mac? The only conversion tool I could find is obscure shareware without a proper preview, and I don't want to spend money on something that may not work. Any suggestions?

you don't happen to have a copy of Fontographer 4.5 lying around?
Pretty old but it works - sort of... that is to say, use the generated font in Illustrator and outline it after doing what you want. Quark does not like .bmap or .suit files - unless of course that has been fixed.

Nope. They're recommending FontLab as a substitute (did fontographer get discontinued?) but I don't see evidence fontlab will convert postscript fonts.

I haven't tried it, but maybe this will help? Not cheap, though:

Thanks. Just tried it and the Tryout version mangles my fonts pretty bad. I'm not going to spend money on something in the hope that the full version is better, it just doesn't seem very likely.
