Hi-

I am too lazy to take my memory stick to the photoshop and I don't want to buy a color printer. I would really appreciate a recommendation for a good Mac-friendly online photoprinting service that offered good quality for not too bad a price. If matte printing is an option it's a plus.

My experience so far was that the Kodak service built into iPhoto did a great job and was absurdly expensive. Sony Imagestation was not terrible but the images were a bit dark and it was important to edit the photos individually to be lighter before submitting them. I could try Sony some more but would be interested in others experiences withe price and quality.

I used this article on dpreview.com for information and sent my shots to Adorama.

(it might have been a different post, but I found this tonight in the search and it seems good as well)

I've ordered twice from adorama.com (the most recent was 8x10's at matte) and I love them. I highly, highly reccomend them, and they're as mac-friendly as any web-based upload can be (they use to have Mac software too, but it's all web now for mac and PC)

Plus, every now and then they have sweet sales. I snagged almost 60 prints when their 8x10's dropped to $0.99 from $1.99, saved a bundle. Definitely sign up for their mailing list if nothing else.

I used Shutterfly last year for my Christmas calendars. I was really pleased with the way they looked. Also had them print out lots of just ordinary smaller prints.
They are very reasonable.

Also have used ClubPhoto. They are reasonable too.
Both of these seem to be having sales all the time.
I would recommend both.

I order them and online and pick them up three days later from the supermarket around the corner.

But I'm guessing you don't live in Holland.
