hey

i need to convert 200 + jpegs into .tiffs

steps: auto color-->rgb to cmyk-->save as .tiff

back in os7 i used quickkeys to do stuff like this but i don't have it (are they still around?)

anyways, any1 know how to do scripts like this either in photoshop or with applescript?

i know nothing about scripting

You can create an "action." You record your steps once, then it creates the action file. you can then have a fn key assigned to it to and do it to the files that are opened, or you can create a "droplet" that you save as a separate file, then you just select all the jpegs that you want to convert, drop them on the droplet, and go get lunch.... used this sort of thing to batch process 500+ photos for uploading to websites a few years ago, it worked like a charm. There should be plenty of info on this in the Photoshop help files.
