for color, sizing, Photoshop, and Quark. More specifically, I do a lot of work in PS and Quark and I am looking for opinions from other professionals on which books they can't live without when it comes to all things print. I know a lot about it, but I am always looking to learn more. I deal with a lot of logos, backgrounds, things that need color correcting, etc., and I want to know more. Any suggestions would be great (and I'm not looking for the Photoshop CS bible). Also, any book you other Quarkers can't live without, please mention. Thanks in advance!

The authors of the Quark books all died while waiting for the application to be *fixed* so no new books are expected anytime soon.

My personal experience has been that doing is the best teacher. Well, that and forums.

Best o' luck.

Maybe try asking questions here and on other forums.

The 'real world' series is pretty good at showing professional production techniques. I've used the Photoshop one as a good reference in the past.

I don't recall a Quark edition, but there is color correction, scanning & halftones, and Photoshop CS for sure.
