Hopefully a simple question... how do I cycle up and down through the tool palette in InDesign like you use to in Quark (Command Option Tab/Command Option Shift Tab). I can't seem to find it anywhere in the help section. Little thing

I've been using that FREE KING program (Quark) for over a decade and I never knew those key commands.

When using InDesign, roll your mouse over the tools and you'll see that it will show the little yellow tag with the name of the tool and, between parenthesis, the shortcut to it. It works the same way Photoshop and Illustrator do. They all have a letter for each tool. That way you don't have to go all the way up and down thru the palette. And if you use Photoshop for your images, you won't have to be making up your mind avery time you change applications.
Art Director: It's funny that I know the shortcuts for the Adobe applications, but, like you, I never memorized those for Quark.

Sweet, thx. I was told about the letter thing for Photoshop, but never tied the two together, hahaha. Should have realized InDesign would have been just as intuitive as PS. And thanx art_director for the comment on the site - trying something new
