Any way to defrag one JPG in iPhoto ?

I have some pics in my iphoto which I took and out of the whole set one picture is now corrupt, and the bottom 25% of the picture is missing when viewed. (The bottom 25% is grey). I remember it being fine before, so it was not damaged from the beginning or anything like that.

I do have a backup also (on DVD), but I must've made the backup after the file was already corrupted because the backup JPG shows up with same 25% missing also.

Besides Apple's built in disk stuff, I don't really use any defragmentation software for OSX.

Would that fix my JPG ? Or are there any other solutions ?

Defragging won't do anything for the jpeg and, in general, isn't necessary in OSX.

If the jpeg is corrupted, there really isn't anything you can do to fix it. How it became corrupt is anyone's guess.

That's ok, it was only 1 picture, but in the future I'll just make my backup immediately before any single picture even has the chance to become corrupted.
