InDesign cs has such awesome display control when the image is linked, but when unlinked seems to have worse than what we had in Quark. (example: Illustrator file that has a wavy edge looks great when linked, and actually becomes straight edged when unlinked)
I’m sure your wondering why in the world I need to have images decently viewed when not linked. It’s a bit complicated, but let’s just say I do need this feature and it’s not something I will be able to explain without going on and on.
Would anyone have any info on this display conundrum?
Could it be I’m missing a setting? Or I need to save my artwork out differently? (I’m trying these very things)
Your advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
Rosie
