Hi, Im building a gallery for my website, and I've made a template for my enlarged images with previous/next buttons using a table. I want the size of the table to stay the same for each seperate image, even though the images themselves are different sizes. When I put a new image in the template, the table changes size, which i want to remain consistant.
My question is: Is there a way to place an image inside a cell without the table instantly resizing?

If your proportions are identical for all the images you can specify the height and width of the image explicitly and it will scale. Its not ideal and you'd be loading larger images than you need if you're scaling them without resampling to the lower size.

I'm not sure what your full layout intentions are, but it doesn't sound like the best solution for your images.

See if you can export your images from iPhoto as HTML and control the size from there, it will create thumbnails for you that you may be able to use instead of all your disparate-sized photos.
