Hello all

I'm trying to create ASCII-like looking images. I tried in photoshop, but no luck

Maybe let me show what I want to do, for example, if you go to www.asciipicture.com that websites changes regular pics to ascii/text pictures. I want to create that kind of look myself, how can I do so?

theoretically what you could do is, and this would only work with a fixed-width font, calculate how many characters high and wide your image will be. Then pixelate the image so that you will have that many blocks of color high and wide. Then type up all that random text into a layer mask and you should have pretty decent results... or couldnt you use the site you linked to, and like screen capture the text or something?
