I am an art director for a print magazine. Some poor fool has been instructed to create an ad for his company and send it to my magazine. He is not an artist, and he is working on Macromedia.

I am working in Quark. What is the best way for him to save his Macromedia file so I can view and use it?

.epf? .ai? or what?

Macromedia what? Freehand? Flash? Dreamweaver? Fireworks?

In any case if it's a vector image, save as EPS--make sure the fonts are included or else have him convert everything to outlines. Otherwise, rasterize the whole thing at the appropriate dpi and save as TIFF. You can then place the files in Quark, but you won't be able to edit them.
I do not like those green links and spam.
I do not like them, Sam I am.
