Does OS X have a native APP
to resize images?
if so what is it and what do I click to get to the resizing menu?

My G5 came with Graphic converter, I believe that should do it.

Yes, you can use iPhoto in your applications, or open Automator in Applications and you can set it to resize an image.

I have a imac g5.
only 2 months old.
it does NOT have graphic converter....

iPhoto should work. Graphic converter was on my G5, perhaps that's one of the differences between an imac and a powermac. Apple definitely has a different software suite depending on whether its a PM or an iMac.
