I only have PS2 and aside from the early probs with the ktext file missing, it's been a solid app and a decent upgrade.

CS2 seems to really really slow down over time. Many people have even gone back to CS1 as there hasn't been an update to photoshop since CS2 came out.

I've not seen any slowdown but I've adjusted ram usage to very high. You can also tweak the memory settings, which helps quite a bit.

It seems to crash more than my previous setup. I never had CS1, however, so I can't really compare the two. Photoshop 7 was rock solid.

I use it daily at work and love it. Bridge is dope. Its more stable (for me) than CS, and the feature set alone is worth the upgrade.

I have 2.5 gigs and gave it a ton. It definitely has a problem using VM as they drastically changed it for CS2 and Tiger.

I haven't noticed any slowdowns, but I don't keep my memory usage window open 24/7 or anything. *shrug*

There was a big thing on Macfix it a couple months ago about the slowdowns.
