I am a graphic designer from Greece. I work for many years in pc's but always had this "thing" for Macs.
Anyway I just bought one iMac to start understanding the "new spirit" The biggest problem i have is the incompatibility with fonts. I cant type in my language, Greek. Especially in the programmes i want, such as Photoshop, illustrator, quark etc. I work with Mac OS X but i have also installed Mac OS 9.2. I have installed a lot of fonts (greek fonts), true type mostly, i can type and change the fonts in english but not in greek, which ofcourse i need for my work... Any ideas? Please.
Has anything to do with Adobe Type Manager? I ve tried it but nothing...

Try this for OS X:
Apple menu>System Preferences>International
Language tab>Edit (add Greek)
Input Menu tab (check Greek; check "Show input menu in menu bar")

is that matter? i thought that over 10 the things are about the same.

well i checked it and greek was already there, also checked the "Show input menu in menu bar" was ok too. But i noticed something else there. in bar "script" says " unicode" and "script - 6" i know the unicode but what is the script -6? Maybe there is the answer to my problem. How can i change that to recognise true type fonts?
