Hello,

I am needing to make a book of my fonts and I was wondering what a good app would be to do that. What I want is to be able to print out my own pages (1 font per page or whatever) on my laser printer and put them into a binder or some such thing for reference. I know this can be done I just don't know where to begin in finding the right software.

Any suggestions?

I could not find a print feature in Font Book. However, if you are using a font management program such as Suitcase, you print font sample pages by opening Suitcase, selecting the fonts, then go to File>Print sample page (command-P). I'm sure other font management apps have similiar steps. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately we are using Font Book here too. But I did run across a program called Font Tools from a company called Veenix. It seems to do what I want with a decent interface. Only problem is it costs $50, but its on the company dime so I don't mind too much.

Anyone have any experience with this app?

The last agency where I was on staff they used The Type Book by Rascal Software. I don't know if was ever written for OS X ( this was five years ago = pre-OS X ) or if it was any good but the production folk made some nice display books with it.

Hope that's of some help.

I've used Font Showcase in the past and it's worked well. The new version may be buggy though, according to reviews on Versiontracker.
