Maybe this thread will help some unfortunate soul down the road...
I just spent hours troubleshooting a problem creating postscript files with Quark 6.5. Every time I attempted to create the file I got a ps with a file size of zero.
Much research and head banging lead me to a post on the Quark Forums. Turns out that Quark 6.5 will spit out a ps file of zero k if the ps file size exceeds 2g. Somone had suggested this was an Adobe issue but they were corrected by another poster. Turns out it IS a Quark problem / limitation. My workaround was to build the PDF out one page at a time and reassemble in Acrobat.
Whew, sure would like my Saturday back.
As I've said before, effing Quark.

That certainly explains a lot. I wasted an en entire day troubleshooting that one.

It's unfortunate they don't publish this limitation.

A 2 gig Postscipt file? WTF? I wonder if the Creo/Kodak extension would work for files over 2 gigs. PM me if you want to try it.

Just create a Q doc with multiple pages, fonts and images. If you can, use large, complex Pshop files as well.
