Just ran into something really annoying. Illustrator CS: We have a user that all of a sudden logged in as that user, Option-Click an image or text box will not copy anymore along with a shift and click to resize a box for an example will not scale proportionally. Is there a combination of keys that’ll turn this on and off??? If we log on as the admin everything works as it should….But she insists it’s a bug in Illustrator.
Also she is working on images for the web only, I keep on advising that group to work and save in ai and it’s not necessary to keep saving the files in eps format, any input?

Every user can have their own preferences, keyboard shortcuts, etc. She probably just needs to set that up properly. Though the shift-resize issue is strange. Might try rebuilding permissions and trash the prefs.
And, no you should not save ai files as eps unless you plan on transferring to other apps that don't support the ai format. Eps is a dying format.
