English Printers?

The client I am working on needs to print an annual perfect bound magazine 100-140 page magazine on coated stock in England, and then have it mailed across the UK & Europe. Up until now they have printed here in the States, but 66% of last year's mailing vanished into a black hole when it was mailed from the US... so I suggested UK printing. They are opening a London office this month, but it is a tiny office and no one knows squat about choosing a printer. I am their freelance art director, production manager, etc etc...
I tried various methods of Googling, but I am at a loss. Does anyone know of any decent magazine type printers in the UK, or a URL of a database I can browse? I need to find and contract a printer in about 60-90 days.

Tony, It seems Google is the way to get started. I typed in "Magazine printers in the UK" and came up with:
http://www.google.com/search?client=...8&oe=UTF-8
There a some trade directories as well. You would need to contact them anyway to evaluate their capabilities and get quotes. Have them FedEx or DHL some samples similar to your magazine specs.
Hopefully a MaCNN UK member will jump in with some recommendations as well.

what sort of quantities are you looking at?
I'm a freelance techie, i'll ask some of the print buyers where i work for some printers numbers.

that would be great... and the print run is 7000... point me in a direction... i have a few names via Westbo's google assist, but everybody's web site says they're fastest & cheapest & best...
