I've been capturing DV clips in iMovie for about a week now. Well, my 250GB drive is almost filled up. I'm still editing...

Can someone tell me where the clips are stored so that I might move them to my External Firewire HD?

Thanks!

The clips and your iMovie project are all stored in a "bundle", which looks to you like only your iMovie project file. A bundle is really just a special folder. You can move your iMovie project to another disk and the project file and the clips will move together.

To take a peek at the contents, control-click the project and choose "Show Package Contents".

Thanks! That worked perfectly. I guess I've spent too many years with Microsoft. Ha!

Thanks again,

No problem. I'm sure this is obvious but I'll say anyways to move the project (bundle) in its entirety. iMovie expects the clips to be within the bundle with the project file.
