Editing a m4a file volume?

I've got a collection of m4a files, and one of them is at a lower volume than the rest, very noticably so in fact. I think it's cos its got some 'faux' video tracks on the file, and the others haven't. Annoyingly, I've tried editing it in QuickTime Pro but can only put the volume up to 200%, which is still a lot lower. Is there anything else I can do or try? Audacity doesn't want to know with the file irritatingly.

Of course I could just re-rip the album...
