Hey, I see that a lot of people make custom computers.... i'm not sure wether it is made by hand and then they take a picture of it- or if they do it all on photoshop
and example:

i myself would like to do some of this stuff, but i cant figure out how to make it look just the least bit realistic

does any body know what can be done to accomplish something similar????

These are rendered in Photoshop. To create this kind of work, you need skills, talent and a tremendous amount of intestinal fortitude.

Learn how to use a good 3D rendering program. These were most likely not done in Photoshop, except for finishing touches and getting textures taken care of

I wouldn't be so sure of that.

It's possible they were done in Illustrator, as well.
