I had to reinstall both the system and the software after a hard drive failure. Now there is no text inside buttons in dialog boxes. Everything works -- just no text. Am I missing a font? A plug-in, a magic word?
Also -- "Help" via Internet Esplorer comes in garbled.

He's referring to InDesign version 2, not InDesign CS2. CS2 is really version 4.

Check to make sure you have Times and Helvetica fonts in your system folder or active in a font manager.
