Hey all - getting my new macbook pro tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone knew any good font Management programs so I don't have to bog down my ram.

When i purchased the gold linotype package, there is a folder with Extensis Suitcase 9.2.1, I find this to be a great little program, easy to scroll through all your fonts, and all you need to do to activate them is right click the font in the Suitcase and select activate font. Although when you turn off your computer the font is deactivated, so if you want the font to stay in the sytstem, you will have to manually put it in there.
There is also Font Agent Pro 3.0.2, although i have had no previous experience with it, so give it a go and see what you think. And welcome to MacNN!

Font Agent Pro is great, but Linotype's FontExplorer X is great as well, especially considering the price (free).

count me in as a font explorer fan. I used to used suitcase a few years back, then switched to font agent 3 for more a year or so, until i recently got a macbook pro. I have to say, font explorer has been hands down my favorite.

Suitcase: made by Exstinksis, say no more.
FontAgentPro: was the best font manager until...
FontExplorerX: hands down the best, for features and price.
