OK... I am working on one of those award dinner programs, the kind with lots of "Congratulations Joe!" type ads filling the back... and about half of the supplied ads are Word files that someone took the time to design. I am working in Quark. The first time I did this job, I re-did the ads in Quark. This time I am saving the Word files as PDFs, and importing them into the Quark file as art.

Any other ideas?
Any potential problems with the current PDF method?

Hi Tony

I've always been wary of importing PDFs into Quark. You may want to consider going one step further and convert the PDF's to hi res TIFs instead.

Quark gets wonky with PDFs at times. I'd take Westbo's words of advice if I were you.
