Hi, I was thinking about buying one of these to play music off my ibook G4. But I can't find any information about if it works with macs or not. All I can find out about it is that it play WMV DRM music which is pretty pointless for me. I don't need anything that plays music purchased off iTunes as I prefer to buy cd's and copy them. I was thinkin about buying the Airport Express but the lack of controls available and lack of screen etc sort of put me off.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated Cheers.

Well I found the following on this page: Philips SLA5520

That's only half of the story, you then need to load the Philips media server software known as "Philips media manager" this should server up your music collection after first cataloguing it on the PC that hosts your files.

To me it sounds like this is Windoze only software, and that the Philips player wouldn't work correctly without it. I'd spend the extra $30 and get an Airport Express that you know will work seemlessly.
