OK... I am using CS1... and I have pages 1 threough 16 in one doc, and 17-18 in another doc, and 19-24 in a third. Other than copying and pasting back & forth, or even dragging from one doc to another, is there anyway to merge the docs into one file?

I know in Acrobat you can add pages from other docs... can I do that in InDesign?

I don't have InDesign available to me at this moment, but there is an option to create a file called a "book," and in this "book" you can combine multiple InDesign files into one.

Also, I believe that there is a way to select the pages from the Pages palette of one indesign document and drag-n-drop them onto the document you want to place them onto.

Shift-select all the pages in the Pages floating palette, and drag them into the target layout. They'll be added to the end of the layout you drag them to.

4 keystrokes, 6 mouse-clicks, 2 drags, and you're done. Seems pretty simple to me.
