I just got my macbook pro last Wednesday and must say that iPhoto is a pretty big letdown in regards to the editing tools it provides. Do y'all know of any good photo editing programs? I've been using Microsoft Picture It with my Dell and was pretty satisfied with it, so something along those lines would be good.

I tried the free Seashore, and was equally disappointed. Right now I'm leaning towards Adobe Photoshop.

iPhoto does basic editing. It's mostly about organizing.

I'd go with Photoshop Elements for more editing features.

The GIMP (free) is also an option.

Graphic Converter has some good editing tools, too. It's shareware (if you decide to pay)
