we use portfolio but its a bit slow i think, and the Data part of keeping track of things is all done in Filemaker Pro. The backing up part of things we do with DAT drives and Retrospect.
I'd actually like to use filemaker for the images and the Data.
iView MediaPro is an excellent program, although it was recently purchased by Microsoft. While they claim they will continue Mac development, that may not actually be the case.
Otherwise TriCatalog works quite well despite its hideous interface.
What about just plain archiving and burning a catalog or something, or a printout of a directory (like we used to take a Finder window ss back in the OS 9 days)? Surely, there's something easy. Please, don't say Portfolio!!!
