so I just got a new canon digital camera and designated iphoto as the download program, but now I would like to switch it back to the canon program. Does anyone know an easy way to do it? I tried re-installing the canon software, and it didn't seem to work.
thanks
mike

When you first hooked your camera you must have seen a dialog box asking if you wanted iphoto to import your images, see if in iphoto preferences has an option to disable that option so your camera's software can work.

Open "Image Capture" in your Applications, go to Image Capture->Preferences and under Camera you can select what you want to happen when you connect your camera. If your Canon App is not listed in the drop down list select Other and navigate to it on your hard drive. Hope this helps...
