making a grayscale scan black and white? It's a piece of music and it looks like garbage right now--lots of gray markings on the page. I want it to be black and white with no blur.
I don't have photoshop and I can't figure out how to do it in Seashore. Any other thoughts?
I tried adjusting the image as a .jpg in Word, but then it made the whole thing REALLY light.
PS-this is cross-posted in Apps. Sorry for any confusion.
I'm not at all familiar with Seashore. Is there a way to convert the image from grayscale to bitmap? That would be the most basic way to do what you describe in Photoshop. Though your results are likely to not be as nice as you want.
look for tools for Levels, Brightness, Contrast, something like that. Make the light tones lighter and the grey tones much darker. Like the darker/lighter controls on a photocopy machine.
