Hi everyone
I am looking for a basic CAD software recommendation. I am ordering a house plan in CAD and want to be able to make minor modifications eg moving a window or door, etc.
I can most likely open the plans in Illustrator. I've demo'd CADtools, which is an Illustrator plug-in. I'm not sure this is the answer. Has anyone worked with it?
Thanks for your help!

I haven't used it myself, but know of others who like TurboCAD. Otherwise, if your needs are pretty basic, you might try Google Sketchup. It's suprisingly feature-rich for a free app.

Thx lily-mac for the info. I did check out the link but did not find any indication that there is a Mac version. Do you know?

Well I guess that 'splains why there's no Mac version. Thanks for the heads-up.
