I have created a design for a promotional flyer uing indesign. The client wants me to create it so they can update the type in Office Word. Now judging what they want, I am to create the background for them and thejust overlay type. All they use is word.
I cannot seem to be able to import the background into word using fill effects.
The document is A5 and the background was sized to A5. Word sucks surely there is a way?

Word will not open or import an InDesign file. Your design, background or graphic will need to be formatted or exported as TIF, EPS, JPG, BMP, or PDF. It can then be inserted as a "picture" into Word. Any editable type will need to be composed Word. Also, your client will need to have the same fonts. For maximum compatibility, I would recommend using only TruType or OTF fonts.
