RememberTheFallen.com is seeking graphic artists to help design the new vehicle wrap for our Hummer H2 promotional vehicle. We are a non-profit website, based out of Tampa FL. Let me start by saying, I know the graphic arts community hates spec work, and if this were for a for profit business I would not even think about posting this. I started this website a little over a year ago as a way to try and give back to the men and women that have given their lives for us. I pay all the costs of keeping the site up myself, and even with the few Google ads to try and help absorb the costs, I find myself digging into my own pockets every month to keep it alive.

Now during the past year we have been VERY lucky to have had some great sponsors come on board to help support our cause. Some of which are Hummer, Intel, Seagate, Panasonic, and Red Bull, to name a few. These sponsors help us out with their products, and we couldn’t do what we do without the help we get.

With that being said, we are putting together a TV, Print, and Radio, promotional tour this summer that will start in Washington D.C. on July 4th, and continue all across the US for the rest of the month, hitting places like NY, Chicago, LA, Las Vegas, and everything in between . For this tour we have had donated to us a new Hummer H2 SUV, and some wheels from DUB (Pimpstar) that allow for us to display the military branches on them while driving via LED lighting.

We are REALLY open to ideas on the graphics for this vehicle. Since our site will be dealing in not only the current war, but instead all the fallen from every war we have been in, we have a lot of options open to us on this design. The only two things that are a must are that the URL Remember the Fallen be prominently displayed on the vehicle, and that on the back of the vehicle we have the saying… They gave their lives, so that we could live ours. We were thinking of the back of the truck being done with the picture you always see of the rifle upside down in the dirt with the helmet and dog tags hanging from it. But again, we are very open to any ideas on this. Please keep in mind that the front windows can not be covered.

This vehicle will be signed by the artist, and will be featured in many magazine articles, newspaper articles, as well as televised newscasts. If you are interested in working on this project with us, please email us at Hummer@RememberTheFallen.com.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this.

You're going about this the wrong way.

1. You want an ad agency to do everything from the TV to the Hummer design. That way you have a consistent look and feel across the board. That's called building a brand.

2. Ask your sponsors for some $ to help implement the work. It only helps their equipment donations go further.

3. Give some ideas for how you see the Hummer, etc. working out then get out of the way and let professionals do the job.

4. Select one ( 1 ) group / person to do all the work. Don't do this unprofessional jumpball spec bu11****. You'll get better work and a dedicated team rather than scatter shot crap.

My 2¢.
