So, the official logo of the 2012 Olympic Games in London has just been released and it's getting hammered by the critics. Apparently the "jagged emblem, based on the date 2012, comes in a series of shades of pink, blue, green and orange and will evolve in the run-up to the Games..."
No sure how that "evolving" is gonna play out, but I couldn't find any further design rationale behind it.
