Hi All,

On how many computers can I activate Photoshop CS3? I'm finding it surprisingly hard to discover this info (search tips? "photoshop + activation + "how many" " hasn't worked)

Thanks in advance for any help,

Chas

The beta allowed for two installations (based on your actual license serial that I believe was required when installing the beta).

I believe Adobe allows installation on two machines (but when on the same network will only allow a single instance of the same license to run).

Please take this with your own research as I haven't found verification of this as a policy, it just appears that way from the manner in which the PS3 beta was handled (and we don't usually install multiple instances of the software on our stations, just with the beta I wanted to see the performance on the intel laptop we had).

yep, two installations. if you try it on a third you get a message saying that you must deactivate a copy first.

i'm the sole person in my office and have had two copies w the same serial number running simultaneously. they were both feeding from an airport network so that may allow for this functionality.

Thanks for the confirmation. Much more generous than Apple with Aperture.

Cheers!

The information about 2 activations is in the license.
