Hi guys. I need some help here. I would like to get a map up on the wall for business use. I need to have a map of Southern California in an area of 3 feet by 3 feet or so. I need to mark upwards of 20 locatons with a fair amount of precision. It doesn't need to be color, but it'd be nice. Could I just go to kinkos and use a wide format printer to print out a google map or something along that line? Or would I need to find a pre printed map?

Thanks for the help.

I think you'd get better results (and far less hassle) by just buying a printed map.

Bishop,

Do you live in SOCAL? IF so you can call your local counties GIS or State Dept of Highways and ask if they have any. I know we have access to our county maps and state road maps for free which are about that size. We even have a city map thats 5 ft by 8 ft that we got for free.

If not, I know they could be expensive (around $100-$200) but you know you would get accurate readings with all of the inputs the gov't uses (parks, highways, rail, airports, etc..)
