I've just noticed that we finally have Noise Ninja available for Aperture 2!
The noise suppression is great, even pictures taken at ISO3200 look a lot better I think the plugin architecture is a real advantage over Lightroom (I'm surprised Adobe doesn't somehow incorporate Photoshop plugins).

Also, a Viveza plugin is available, too, although it's a tad expensive in my opinion
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

^ I don't love that Noise Ninja has to generate a .tiff in order to work. Sure, hard drives are cheap, but each tiff from a RAW might be 45MB, and that adds up.

Why can't the noise reduction work as an instruction set side car to the RAW file? :grumble:

Adobe thinks you should roundtrip to Photoshop to retain more editability.

handy that it's a plugin for Aperture.
not so handy that you have to buy the $80 version.
