moving dreamweaver to new mac...

am in the process of setting up a new macbook; i re-installed dreamweaver (cs3), but does anyone know where the site files are stored? ie site list, login and password info... thanks!

I'm not sure myself, but you can export and import the site manager file. The file extension is .ste if that helps.

not sure where to import from; i have my user folder, but the app is only on the new mac...

What about the old Mac you transferred it from? It should still have the site manager, which you'll then be able to export, transfer and import to the new Mac.

ah, the old mac is gone...moved all my files to an external drive...
so i have my user folder, just no apps...

EDIT: i just re-did the login info, and am good. still...would be useful to know where that data is kept..

I think it's somewhere around /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver 9/Configuration, although I'm not very sure...

Would it be a bad idea to simply copy the hard drive of your main mac to the laptop using SuperDuper?

You'd have the same set-up and could not miss a file.
