I remodeled my most popular website, again. I've remodeled it a bunch of times over the years, but this time i really think it looks sharp. I'm very impressed

So what do you guys think?
http://www.whatsmyip.org/

Note that it uses round borders and text shadows, which are not well supported. So it doesn't look nearly as good in other browsers as it does in safari, but oh well.
Also stick to the home page, teh rest of the site is in shambles :-)

So dark … so grey … so orange …

As a no-nonsense design, it’s okay; but I wouldn’t visit the site for the design.

I'm a great fan of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) so I like your design. The colours aren't too bad, but it somehow reminds me of a cheap car's dashboard. Sorry, not sure how else to put it.

It feels more like you used a stock template, rather than a ground-up re-build. It's...functional.

No offense but the color selection is not the best. Dark gray and orange - don't mix in my book. Maybe back when the internet was new this was passible but now, you need to show more polish and panache

Oh I disagree, I think the colors are the best part. White and light grey is so every site on the internet. I think the dark looks good, and the orange really highlights the different shades of grey very nice. Thats ok if you don't personally like it, but they definitely go together very well!

No problem, you asked for opinions and I provided them, its your site and your color selection I respect that. I do believe that given the colors its a very dated look and feel. I'm not trying to sound overly negative but I did want to give my $.02

Good luck

dated meaning retro or dated meaning 90's? Cause the colors definitely have a retro feel to them, but i don't see how they'd be considered a 90's looking color scheme. I just don't see it.

A little of both, it certainly has a retro feel, probably more so if you used the color green instead of orange - you know green screen type of look

I could use green and use the text shadow to simulate a bit of blur and go for a matrix code look . . . but naw i'm all about the orange vynil unless someone else has a better suggestion
