I love Aperture for the ability to create books and have them printed. However, when switching from Aperture 1.5 to 2.x, I can no longer arrange text boxes. Can anyone else verify whether (s)he has the same problem? Specifically, I'd just like to put some large letters behind photos so that you can still see part of their shape.

make sure you switch from 'Edit Layout' to 'Edit Content' in the theme toolbar near the top. i believe that's a change from 1.5.

In Edit Content mode all of the arrange buttons (both, in the tool bar and in the cogwheel menu) are grayed out. Are you sure that they should even be available in Edit Content mode?

I can arrange images amongst each other just fine. It's just that text is always on top. I also cannot change the arrangement of different text boxes, it's always in the order they were created.

hmm, you're right. altho my arrange buttons aren't greyed out, they don't actually do anything for text. it looks like text will always be on top. that's....annoying.

Ok, so it's not just me. Very annoying, I'm positive that Aperture 1.5 could do this.
(I meant that the buttons are grayed out in Content Mode.)
