Why does QT 4 sound better than iTunes when playing mp3's? QT 4 has much better bass and has a more spacious sound. It just plain kicks butt.

Any opinions?

the first thing that comes to mind is that qt4 has bass and treble and itunes does not.....i like itunes for it's simplicity and how it wont skip while you do other things on your system while it plays in the background...but why apple "overlooked" the bass and treble control and a simple e.q. is beyond me..........but i guess that's why it was free. it's almost as if they constantly overlook the obvious
