Just picked up a Canon mini DV ZR 25 with firewiire. I'm just trying to get started transferring pictures stored on its card to my PB using firewire. Can't seem to get it to import through Quicktime or picture viewer....or am I not on the right track here? What do I need....

thanks

I have access to the camera but haven't tried it yet. I'm pretty sure you use iMovie.

I have a Sony VX-2000 with the ability to capture stills on a 4 meg memory stick. I have to use the supplied reader to read the photos from the memory stick into the computer as individual image files or......
I can also transfer all the photos from the memory stick to DV tape, from there I could import them into the computer using a video editing program like Final cut or Premiere.
