...but Draw just spins?! I got v.11 in about '06 but never used it... Now, I need Draw.
Any thoughts on how to open? ... I tried a classic Mac move - open something inside it ... and the traditional front door, to no avail. The front door opens Paint and Trace.. Thoughts?

Are you using an Intel-based Mac? As you probably know, the last version of CD/Mac was v.11, and it was PPC ONLY. So, you're definitely having to run it under Rosetta. This can be tricky, especially with big, complex apps like CD.

There are a few tricks people have used to get CD to open on an Intel Mac. The two most common are:
• Delete the CorelDraw preferences folder. This is the first thing to try. For many, this has done the trick.
• Add a printer. Yes, I know this sounds crazy, but I've run across posts on the web where this seems to work for some reason. It doesn't matter which printer you add, just add one.

Also, make sure you have CD updated. I think this is the last update for CD11/Mac.

Funny - my Intel will not accept the patch .. but my older iMac running 10.5 runs Draw just fine?! I don't really care why .. I just need a machine to interface with a plotter, so it looks like this 'oldie' has a use after all...

So, is your older iMac a PPC machine? If so, you should have no problems with CD. Glad you got it running on something.
