Why is it "my mob" "my email" "twitter"? The difference between the first/second and third is jarring. I say drop the my.

Pros: Warm, friendly, cute. I like the colors and the handdrawn feel.
Cons: The chunky typeface/treatment is a little unreadable. I know that Jones has an e, but if I didn't, I'd have no idea what that letter is. For the pencil typeface, even though I get it's supposed to look hand-done, it still could use kerning. Look to the numbers and fat letters like w.
Minor typographical nitpicks, but for a graphic designer I'd say typography is important.
Is there a portfolio link or URL for the card?

Agreed on "warm, friendly, cute". But it does lack a what I think a lot of folks find pretty important - professional.
Just my opinion, but I always feel like mostly professional, with a bit of quirky/funky/cutesy (whichever) is usually best.

Personally, I would never, ever provide a Twitter link, unless you've made that Twitter account a positive, professional mini-blog. On the other hand, if your Twitter history is a typical "Having lunch with my Mom. The salad is terrible." type of Twitter account, I don't think I'd want a potential employer rummaging through my past posts. Yes, potential employers may well find your Twitter on their own, but I can't see any reason to hand it over to them.
As for the typography...Yes, it's warm, friendly, cute. BUT, what sort of work are you looking for? Is this card indicative of the work in your portfolio? I would prefer to see a business card that showed more of a "professional" design sense. That doesn't mean cold and sterile grids, of course. I mean, if you want to do the friendly, hand-made feel (which is what I get from this) why not go all the way? Work on making it look "hand-made" but still obviously a designer's work? I know that's vague...but that's my prerogative as creative director

ah thank you guys for your comments, i'll post my cv and pdf up although they all pretty much follow the style of the business card if i'm fair(especially the cv). I totally agree with the adjusments you guys have suggested especially the one about the twitter account and the kerning, and dropping the 'my'. I was thinking about having a spot gloss on the front of the card where my name is, however i obivously want the card to be perfect before forking out £60-70 for it.

I'd get that personal info blurred NOW. Thats not the sort of stuff you want on a public forum.

Indeed. You are also giving out your tutors personal details as well. Not smart.
