Hi i am doing a book about sleepwalking for a graphic project at uni and i was wondering how i could recreate this using photoshop, preferable with out using any brushes. It's gonna be laser etched as a background pattren on the front cover so it doesn't have to be high spec or anything. Pic i what i was after is below.

I was hoping this thread detailed a new medical breakthrough. A cure for spinal injuries, alzheimer's, or parkinson's.
Just think. If you made that post instead, you could quit uni and move to your private island. Hire all the graphic designers you want.

That was my thought as well, just use a real slide or somesuch. However, if you had to imitate that effect, you could do it by painting a rough sketch, add noise, blur, levels, etc etc.

If you want to make your own, I think the old liquid & straw technique would work great, then scan it in and touchup with Photoshop.
