Hey all:
I'm a bit sick of Lightroom for my portfolio gallery, it is everywhere and I'd like some better carousel options. My jquery skills are minimal – I can hack it but don't look forward to writing my own.
Anyone recommend any other more modern tools to get a good gallery? Can be as a Wordpress Plugin or just a jquery library thingamabob. I'm testing out fancybox (yes, still not modern) for a work project and it's nicer than lightbox, but this looks interesting and I wonder if it's worth the price:
If I were to do it (and I might in the near future), I'd just use a WordPress theme and customize the gallery layout.
But the one you posted does seem slick. And, coincidentally, I got it as part of BundleHunt - The Greatest Design Treasure
But I'm not going to use it, so I could probably transfer it to you, if need be.
