Hi:

I have found myself needing to resurrect some old files that were created under Mac OS. To that end I need a copy of the Acrobat 4.0 CD. I do have the installation code from back then (1998 or so).

Is there anyone who could help?

Somebody was selling a copy on Amazon for $6.96, including shipping. Can't beat that.

Glad you were lucky to find it on Ebay for a reasonable price.

Otherwise, there's always BitTorrent (since you own it, it's not piracy), but it's probably hard to find old versions like that.

I should point out that it was an Amazon Marketplace item. When I didn't find it on eBay, I had resigned myself to having to wait for a copy to turn up there. Then I thought of searching on Amazon, and, bingo!

Why did you need only that particular version? A more modern version wouldn't have worked with the files you needed to deal with? That sounds strange for PDFs.
