I want to download the Lightroom plugin for Picasa so that I can publish images to Google+ images but I cannot because of this message:

"Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /LightroomPlugins2/releases/picasaweb-20120411.195.zip on this server."

What does this mean? I am trying to locate the plugin here.
How to Publish Your Photos From Lightroom Directly to Google+

I am running Google chrome on Lion OSX. Can anyone help me on this or is there an alternative way to enable LR to publish legitimate images to Google.

Not sure why, I was able to download the plugin from here (linked from your link above)

http://regex.info/LightroomPlugins2/...120411.195.zip

I'm not on Lion, maybe?

It might be a regional lock-out, for some reason. I was able to download the plugin without an issue.

Check your PMs.

I now have the plugin thanks to those concerned, and downloaded Picasa onto my hard disc and also set up web version with a couple of images installed but now find I cannot sync the two because " .... Google cannot authorise my account..."! I have set up the plug in with Lightroom also but again face the same problem in that I cannot authorise to finish setup. It really has me confused. The only other possibility is non acceptance of cookies. At this point I don't know how to check. I had a look in the Google Chrome prefs but could not see anything. I am now at a loss to know what to do! Very frustrating!

Have you tried another browser besides Chrome? Can you log into your account online?

I'm not too familiar with the Picasa app... perhaps this is a regional problem like your download. :/

I get this after trying to sync

picasaweb#195 +555.7: [x1095020c8] @OAuth2 line 117:
Couldn't authenticate: result in refreshAccessToken not a string:
[x1095020c8] @OAuth2 line 117
... [x1095020c8] @PicasaWeb line 113
[x1095020c8] @Login line 356
[x1095020c8] @Login line 429
[x1095020c8] @Async line 82

Error:
PicasaWeb login aborted: Debug:713: Assert @Debug:713

I did look at the Light Room plugin manager and saw the possibility that I have to register for shareware. Quite honestly it's just too much hassle! So I give up! Thanks for all your help.
