It might...might...be worth it if you are a guru-power-user of all of their apps. But, look at the list of included apps. I've not even heard of some of them, let alone used them (or known anyone who used them). I also find it interesting that their much-ballyhooed website tool, Muse, is only available in this cloud offering. I'm sure they see it as a tempting hook for people to jump on the rental bandwagon.
If you're someone like me, who largely bounces between Illustrator and Photoshop, with an occasional stop in Acrobat Pro, I can't see it. And, honestly, I skipped the CS5.5 update and I can't see any good reason to make the leap to CS6 any time soon.
Edge does indeed look to be cloud-only now if you want the latest, shiniest version..
