Is it just me or are all Flash 6 movies unreadable in IE 5.1 OS X? If I adjust the publish settings (in MX) to compatibility with Flash 5 players, it's fine. But 6? naaah...

The same Flash 6 movies work fine in Netscape 6.2 OS X.

Go figure...

Anybody else have this problem?

Here's an example: try clicking the «start the tour» link (in IE 5.1 OS X) on this page:
http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/

My browser just keeps on loading, and loading, and loading...

In Netscape? Whamo! Works fine...

I just answered my own question. Seems like my IE accesses internet plugins in the current user library and NOT the common one.

Copied the Flash 6 plugin to the right location and works fine.

Whu?

this lounge is a poor substitute to the bbq.
